Golden Pain Perdu

Resting (if the bread is very hard or the slices are thick): 15 min

Cooking Time: 7/8 minutes

Servings: 2 people

Ingredients:
  • 2 Eggs
  • 20cl of milk
  • 30g of cane sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of Golden Masala
  • Butter
  • 2 large slices of bread or 4/6 small slices
How to prepare Golden Pain Perdu
  • In a bowl, mix the eggs, sugar, milk and Golden Masala.
  • Soak the bread in the mixture for 10 to 15 minutes.
  • In a frying pan, melt the butter then take the slices of bread out of the bowl and place them in the frying pan. Cook until they are nicely browned on each side.
