Golden Cookies

Servings: 2-3 people

Ingredients:
  • 4 tablespoons of salted butter
  • 3 tablespoons of brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar
  • 1 egg yolk
  • ½ teaspoon of Asha Golden Masala
  • ½ cup flour
  • ¼ teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ cup chocolate chips

How to make Golden Cookies
  • Preheat the oven to 200°C
  • Melt the butter in the microwave for 30 seconds or more depending on your microwave.
  • Add the brown sugar and sugar and mix well until smooth.
  • In the butter and sugar mixture, add one egg yolk and the Golden Masala.
  • Stir in the flour and baking powder.
  • Stir the chocolate chips into the cookie dough.
  • Place the cookie dough on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. (This recipe makes 2 to 3 cookies, depending on your preferred size)
  • Bake for 8 to 10 minutes (do not overbake as cookies continue to bake after removal from oven).
