- 4 tablespoons of salted butter
- 3 tablespoons of brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon of sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- ½ teaspoon of Asha Golden Masala
- ½ cup flour
- ¼ teaspoon baking powder
- ½ cup chocolate chips

How to make Golden Cookies
- Preheat the oven to 200°C
- Melt the butter in the microwave for 30 seconds or more depending on your microwave.
- Add the brown sugar and sugar and mix well until smooth.
- In the butter and sugar mixture, add one egg yolk and the Golden Masala.
- Stir in the flour and baking powder.
- Stir the chocolate chips into the cookie dough.
- Place the cookie dough on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. (This recipe makes 2 to 3 cookies, depending on your preferred size)
- Bake for 8 to 10 minutes (do not overbake as cookies continue to bake after removal from oven).
