Ingredients:
- 500 grams of chicken
- 2 medium-sized onions
- 400g tomato puree
- 1 tablespoon of tomato paste
- 3 tablespoons of oil
- 10 cashew nuts
- Asha Garam Masala
- Salt to taste
- 1 teaspoon of pepper
- 3 tablespoons of crème fraîche
- 1 tablespoon freshly chopped coriander/parsley leaves
How to prepare butter chicken
- Cut the chicken into medium-sized cubes and fry in 1 tablespoon of oil on both sides until cooked through.
- Remove the chicken and, in the same pan, sauté the onions in 2 tablespoons of oil until caramelized.
- Add the tomato paste and tomato puree and fry until the raw tomato smell disappears.
- In another pan, take a teaspoon of oil and heat it, add the cashew nuts and fry them until golden brown.
- Add the cashews to the onion and tomato mixture and mix everything together.
- Mix everything together using a hand mixer.
- Add the Asha Garam Masala
- Add the crème fraîche and chicken to the sauce.
- Garnish with coriander or parsley leaves
- Serve hot with rice.
